It took me awhile to take his pictures this time. I prefer outdoor lighting, but the weather wasn’t very cooperative. I’llhave to get a new plan for the winter months, lol. His 12 months onesie now fits him properly. It will have to streeeeetch to make it to his first birthday.
His mood was ever changing for this photo shoot. His front teeth are trying to make an appearance and disrupt his sleep and his pleasant attitude. It’s things like this that will make us celebrate when they finally break through!
Your baby is ADORABLE!!!
He’s SO cute! I miss the baby stage! Can you sniff his neck for me? 🙂
He is Such a CUTIE!!!!
Could you share how you set up the backdrop for these photos and what material you used? I’d like to make my own quality photos to send in Christmas cards this year. Thanks!
Kelly, you are going to LAUGH! My backdrop was a navy blue blanket that I pulled off my bed. The key to great pictures is outdoor lighting. A cloudy day (looks like rain) is the best. I took the pictures outside on my deck and threw the blanket over the railing so it would be the entire background of the photo. I’m looking forward to Friday when my cousin, who is building a portfolio, will photo the whole family outdoors for our Christmas cards. She is not charging us so I used a few dollars to buy some fun accessories to make everyone coordinate.
Grant is a precious little guy! I have a special request because I am such a pushover for little baby toes. When I photographed all 4 of my little ones, I never had their little feet covered. I look back and enjoy the photos of watching them grow from head to toe. I encourage you to consider exposing his little feet in one of his milestone photo shoots. I promise you will smile, even 17 years later like I still do. You are a blessed mommy for sure!
Robin, I love baby toes too. This day is was very COLD outside so I let him have his socks and we worked really quickly. But outside lighting is the best for good photos and I wanted him to have his onesie that I take all his monthly photos in. I’ll have to move inside soon and then his toes can wiggle :).
