I am thankful for a warm house, healthy family, ahd the fact that we have been so blessed that we are trying to declutter. (Trying to see that in a positive light, as I work at decluttering!)
I didn’t realize you were on facebook – just “liked” you there….
Last year, our family hit a really rough patch. we lost our house, our cars, my husband was going on 8 months unemployed, we had an 8 month old and we were pregnant again. We were living with family, and really did not think we were going to have any money for Christmas. we even told our older 2 kids (9 and 10) that we were santa, and that santa wasn’t coming this year. A friend of mine online (never met her in real life, she lives too far away to meet anytime soon) sent me a big box full of wrapped gifts for my children. It was WONDERFUL, and even now as I write this story it gives me goosebumps to think of a virtual stranger extending a hand to help out my family last year.
I am everly grateful for my two beautiful children and the third one that is due in January. I was told for years that I was infertile and now we have had three “oops” babies!
I am thankful for my amazing family, job and health!

Thankful for my family, especially the five grandkids!
I am thankful for a husband whose job allows me to stay home with our children. It is a blessing many do not enjoy, and that we haven’t always had and so I am very grateful.
I am thankful for YOU, Angela. You are such an inspiration to me in homemaking, in business, in living more abundantly with less. <3
I’m thankful for supportive friends and family who have surrounded us during a difficult time we’ve been in the past few months. They never let us down!
Last summer, we took our whole family (seven) out to get ice cream cones. After we got there, I realized that they did not take debit cards and I didn’t have enough cash with me. I asked my husband if he had any cash on him and when he said, “No” a stranger enjoying a cone with his family, reached over and stuffed a $10 bill in my hand.
I am thankful that, despite what the constant barrage of bad news would have us believe, this world is full of good people!
Like you. . . thanks for the chance. (:
Tonight, I am very thankful for my son’s asthma medicine!

I’m thankful for my wonderful husband and adore the 8 beautiful children we have had together!
This year, I am particularly thankful for the kidney transplant my mom underwent in August. This is her second transplant….the first kidney worked for 19 years! She was in the surgeon’s office being told that she would soon be undergoing a procedure to prepare her for dialysis when the transplant coordinator called to tell her that there was a “perfect match” for her and to get herself to the hospital. No need for dialysis! She had been on the waiting list just 8 months this time. Both transplants were miracles as the doctors told her because of antibodies, she’d probably never be matched. She’s doing great today!

When I was in 7th grade and was getting ready for a piano recital, the nuns bought me a new dress to wear as I didn’t have anything towear as my parents didn’t have the money to buy me one. I truly was grateful for that and know what a sacrifice they made for me.

I am so thankful for quiet mornings!
Just this morning I was thinking about how grateful I am for my part-time online with with an online college (I teach a world religions course). Even though I have to get up at 4am every day to get my grading done, we would be in a financial bind without the money I earn from it, so I’m so thankful. And I do go to bed early, so most days, I’m not sacrificing a healthy amount of sleep, either.
I’m thankful to be spending our first Thanksgiving with my new husband and thankful for the many ways God has provided for us this year.
