I’m thankful to look back over the years and see the Lords working in our family. It’s reassuring and wonderful gift to know that we are not walking through this life alone 🙂

My daughter recently had a baby girl and a blogger whom I have never met in person asked me for my address so that she could send a couple of things for the baby to me to give to her. If that isn’t the sweetest gesture I don’t know what is. This sounds like a great giveaway. We need to shrink our debt like many others in this economy.

I’m grateful for my husband. This last week as he went in to town I sent a small grocery list with him- he not only picked up the items but brought me home a rose! No reason, except that he’s wonderful like that!

Old reader, but saw that you were the guest blogger for The Lettered Cottage…YAY!

I am Thankful for my boys!!! I was told that getting pregnant would be difficult and with fertility treatments for years, it definitely seemed like it would not happen. Then one day in Church, an Elder came to me and told me to expect a small miracle….well, 3 months later, a little miracle did happen….I was expecting!!! My Husband and Family were thrilled and joyful, and blessed! I spoke with the Elder after the news and he told me that GOD told him he would heal my womb…7 years & 2 boys later, I am still SO THANKFUL for the miracle of GOD and for the Elder! I named my little one, Samuel as he (and my 5 year old, James) are truly gifts from GOD.

I just found your blog from The Lettered Cottage. I’m always looking for ways to save money as I am retired and on a fixed income. It’s also fun finding new ways to save. I am thankful for my children who are now grown with children of their own. I became a single mom when my daughter was 10 and my twins (girl, boy) were 2. That was 27 years ago. They helped me through a rough time of going back to work and making ends meet while trying to care for my little family. We became very close and remain close to this day. At one time or another, the girls and their children have lived with me so those situations allowed me to help raise grandchildren and be close to them also. For these blessings, I am very thankful.

I’m so very thankful for my mom. You know the story “Footprints in the Sand”? The part where the person sees only one set of footprints–those are my mom’s.

  15. Heather B says:

I am thankful for my children; they keep my eyes open and my heart full. Way full. And my body tired. WAAAAY tired.

  16. Caroline says:

Thankful for my job. It is a great place to work where people actually care about what they do and each other. Makes a huge difference to go to work each day when you actually enjoy it!

A very wonderful and sweet kindness we received was from a time when my husband was undergoing radiation treatment. One day when we picked up the mail we found a beautiful card and a giftcard to a local store from an anonymous person who had been praying for us. It was so appreciated and generous. 🙂
