I am thankful for all the wonderful people God has put in my life. After twenty years of marriage and six kids, I look back and think how beautiful the Lords plan is. On one occasion when we lived in Colorado, now we are in Upstate NY, with no family to help and I just had our 3rd child and my wonderful friend Angela offered to come over and help me. Now we were friends but not close, close. She came over and cleaned my bathroom, mated our socks, did laudry, waited on me. It was so wonderful. I told my husband if we ever have another daughter we were naming her Angela. In 2002 we had our 5th child a girl and in memory of this Angel of a friend whom I have lost contact with, we named her Angela Kathryn. God is good and helps you just when you least expect it. I love your website and you are a blessing too.

I am thankful for my husband and my daughters. This will be our first Christmas without a bunch of other extended family, and I am excited to start some of my own traditions. I am excited to get more time with just my husband and our two little girls this Christmas season! 🙂

I’m thankful for gentlemen who open doors… and for sweet little boys who have nice manners & open doors… I say this b/c with a 6 month old in a carseat, a diaper bag, and the crazy-ness that follows – I SERIOUSLY appreciate this act of kindness!! May I remember to pass it along!

I’m thankful that my husband is working this year! He’s in construction, so it’s usually seasonal, but with the economy being what it is, seasonal is an understatement. He’s driving 2.5 hours each way to the only job that’s available so I’m mostly thankful for him — that he’s willing to do this to provide for us!! I pink puffy heart him!!

I’m so very thankful for my home this year. We were without a home for 3 months while we were transitioning from a very emotional move and we (and our 4 children) had to live with family. It was a difficult time, but we have bought our first house (after 16 years of marriage!) and feel so very blessed!

I am thankful for a sovereign God who is personal and cares about the mundane as well as the magnificent! I am also thankful for the blessing of living debt-free for over 8 years! When my husband lost his job two years ago, we weren’t overly anxious because our home and two vehicles were paid for. In His perfect timing, God provided another job; the week before his severance pay ran out. In the meantime we enjoyed our favorite summer every, with Dad home from work everyday!! God is so faithful!
