I was pulling weeds in my backyard no less, and my neighbor came to help me. She is just wonderful. The day was bright and sunny and I’m sure she must have had something better to do, but she helped me anyway. I needed that help.

It’s hard to limit all my thankfulness! I’m thankful for my mom! She lives 3000 miles away, but when she comes to visit she’s so quick to take care of the twins (10 months) so I can squeeze in couple extra hours of much needed sleep! She is a God-send!! I’m also thankful for a husband that laughs with me – it fills my heart!

I’m so richly blessed in so many wonderful ways but lately I’ve been really aware of and thankful for laughter… and hearing my children laugh makes me feel good all over!

We are moving, unexpectedly! The company my husband works for has transferred him! We are so thankful we still have a job! So he is living out of a suitcase 3 hours away, and I am trying to sell our house so the rest of the family can move too! A dear friend sent us a card with a generous monetary gift! It was totally unexpected and completely wonderful! We are so thankful and blessed!

I am thankful for my wonderful husband and my furry son. They’re both the absolute best, and my life would be so less fulfilled without them!

I am thankful for such a great boss. After 20+ years at home I went back to work reluctantly and only upon the wishes of my husband to help pay college costs. I work as a paraprofessional in an autism preschool classroom and the teacher I work for, and my coworkers, make going to work a joy. It’s still not my favorite thing, I would much rather be in my house tending my home, but she makes it so much better than it could be. ps. She gave us all roses today to let us know how much she appreciates us. How sweet is that?

A kind gesture my family once received, was during an evening out to dinner. We spotted a couple that we went to church with, but at the time didn’t know very well. At the end of our meal when it was time for the check, our waiter informed us that our bill was already taken care of. The couple we went to church with had paid for our meal and never said a word about it. We were so grateful. Since then we have become much closer and are thankful of friends who are thinking of you even when you’re not aware.

I’m thankfully we had hard financial times when we were first married…it taught us how to say no to ourselves, work hard and now we’re debt free!

  17. Janelle says:

I’m thankful for God’s protection during a car accident. The car is totaled but both me and the little one growing inside are okay. Praise the Lord!

I am thankful that there are people in this world that I don’t know but teach me so many things from budgeting, coupon shopping, crafts, and life.
