It’s Coming…

P.S.  The Giveaway is open until I reveal the secret, so keep those guesses coming :).   Comments are now closed.  Congratulations Amber!

As part of the perks of having a well read blog, sometimes companies send me things.  They ask me to tell you my opinion, and I get to keep whatever it is.  I was contacted this week by CSN stores for just an offer and I’m SUPER excited about this one.  It’s not a coffee maker , but it goes in your kitchen.  If you set this out at a garage sale, instead of a lemonade stand, people would be talking about it for months and make a point to check out your sale next year.  Ooh, not just garage sales, but birthday parties will never be the same.  And what about the next family BBQ?

It's better than Lemonade

The cool thing about CSN is that they have a huge range of items, over 200 online stores and a million products.  If you need it you can find it at CSN and it will probably be on discount with reasonable or free shipping.  So stay tuned and I’ll let you know when the mystery item arrives.  But first I need to go find the party hats!

Can you guess what it is?  Leave a comment with your guess and I’ll draw a name for a free Grocery Shrink ebook or Slow and Savory book.  Already have one?  You can designate a friend to get it.

I’m guessing that it’s an ice cream maker…probably because I know I’d really love to have one! That would be one awesome stand at a yard sale:)

I am going to guess an ice cream maker, but that might just be because I have ice cream makers on the brain….(I have been wanting one for a long time!)

  3. Valerie says:

My guess is either an ice cream maker or a smoothie maker. 🙂 My other thought was perhaps a personal cotton candy machine…given the birthday party hint. 🙂

i’m guessing an ice shaving margartia-ish machine for slushies and/or adult beverages. hope it’s not that hand-crank Snoopy Snow Cone one. hahaha…

I’m guessing a juicer that turns *real* fruit into juice or an icee. Multi-functioning and healthy. As in stick in some raspberries, and boom, raspberry slushy/icee.

One of those lovely glass/plastic stand drink dispensers. Those are great for all these events.

Is it like one of those Kuerig (not sure if I spelled that right) machines? My friend has one and it’s so much fun!

How about a ice shaver or sno-cone maker, would be refreshing in the hot summer months when you are garage saleing

my guess is an ice cream maker! WOO HOO ..
ok i have a question too. Just got your “grocery shrink story” email. I totally have to wonder how a single mum who makes 32,000 a year can do something like that in small town nowhere (ok being anti-social i am fine with being nowhere even if it means I have to drive an hour to find a grocery store). Is it a question if I put a ? there now?

      Twila,
I’ve found that mom’s like you are the most resourceful people around. I firmly believe where there’s a will there’s a way. When we got out of debt we lived in a town of 750 people. We had 3 children, my husband made less than $40,000 a year and I had to drive 30 miles to the nearest large grocery store. That’s part of how the Grocery Shrink method was born. I could no longer go to the store any time I needed something, so I learned to stock up, plan ahead and make do or do without. It turned out to be a pretty awesome way to live. We are in the city now, but I still only shop once or twice a month. It’s nice to free up all that time I used to spend shopping.

      You can do it!

I was going to guess an ice cream maker, but apparently that’s a popular guess. How about a chocolate fountain?

  11. Andrea says:

Hmmmnnn….I don’t really have any idea. I must say, I am thrilled that your company is growing so! Good for you! OK….my guess…..a cappucino machine. However, I think it may have something to do with chocolate instead……..

The first thing that comes to mind is a smoothie/frozen drinks machine.
More refreshing than Lemonade on a hot summer day : )
