When you subscribe to Grocery Shrink Plus, you can download an expanded menu including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for the week. The plan includes recipes plus an action plan for each day to help the week’s cooking go smoothly.

The menu’s are based on the pantry method of shopping, so you can save the most money while cooking nutritious meals for your family. I will include a master pantry list for the week which details the items that should be in your pantry, plus a list of items that are perishable or not commonly in a pantry for you to gather in preparation for the week.
The menu’s are sent out on Friday at noon so you can use the weekend to shop for any needed food for the coming week. The first meal on the menu is for Sunday.

The meals include variations for those on gluten free diets, or those who must avoid dairy products. There is not a vegetarian option at this time.

The recipes are pre-calculated to serve families of 2, 4, 8, and 12 members and often cooking time is shortened by using “planned-overs” as meal starters for another day.

I subscribed to the menu last week and I have to say…I LOVE IT!!!!!! I usually menu plan on my own but I currently work full time (hopefully that will change some day) and I have so many other things I would rather spend my time on. I love having the action plan so I know what needs to be done ahead of time. This has been such a blessing! And the recipes are so good! I found out this week that I really like enchiladas. I’d never had them before. I cannot say enough good things. I’m spreading the word to all of my friends.

Hi Angela, We are going well with the menus so far, and saving an amazing amount of money on our groceries. I am actually astounded at how much we are saving, so thank you. I have been doing some research on what I can use instead of corn meal because I am noticing that it is definitely a staple. So in case you have some other Aussies who are as unaware as I am LOL, I just wanted to let you know that in Australia it appears cornmeal is called polenta! So it is easy for me to obtain, yay! Q. I don’t use credit cards, can I pay with a check?

A. We only take payments via paypal. They also process debit cards and bank transfers if you prefer not to use a credit card.

Q. I’m nervous about signing up for a subscription. How long am I committed for? How do I unsubscribe?

A. Your subscription is just for $5 a month one month at a time. You can unsubscribe any time by simply clicking on the unsubscribe link under the dashboard heading on this website. But please take note: the unsubscribe button works instantly! That means if you subscribe and hit unsubscribe before getting all of the month’s menu’s, you won’t get the rest of the months’ menus. There are no refunds.

Q. How much money will I spend on food using the menus?

A. That’s up to you. Your shopping methods will impact your budget the most. I have planned the menus with every day low cost foods; and use similar ingredients week in and week out to cook a huge variety of foods. This way you can predict what you will use over a month and start to build a pantry of these items when you see them go on sale. I also plan seasonal produce (USA seasons) and trending low cost items (For example chicken breasts are at a 3 year low right now, so I am using them more than I used to.) Feel free to substitute ingredients if you find a better deal; or adjust the amounts in the shopping list if you know your family doesn’t like an item or won’t eat as much of it.
