On our New Year’s celebration tomorrow, I’m using Looka pastries on our buffet. They are high quality, yummy treats made with real food ingredients and readily available in the Freezer section at Wal-mart. Affordable, stress-free perfection. We’ll have other things too–like homemade Kombucha (I’ll show you how to make this later. I can’t even stand soda now… this stuff has spoiled me forever) shrimp rings (from Aldi,) Veggie tray, Queso blanco and whatever our guests are bringing.
Caramel and Chocolate Loaf
Mousse Cups
Macaroons
Tiramisu

The pastries all look good. I am so cold right at this moment that I would probably eat whichever one I could not frozen or refrigerated. 🙂
I am looking forward to your spending freeze posts! We are working on some home improvements right now, so can’t do a total freeze, but I have been thinking about how I might could participate.
Sheila, While you are working on your improvements is the perfect time for a freeze! Just don’t freeze the improvement spending–it can go on the list of what you can spend on this month. (That’s the beauty of making your own freeze rules.) We are doing something similar. We aren’t doing a project this month, BUT every dime I can squeeze out of the budget will go towards the project in the future.
