Only 2 Days Left–Plus Bonus!

I’m working feverishly on finishing the complete menu plan for Grocery Shrink Plus.  It mails out Friday and it is fantastic!    I know there are a few of you who want to join our group of action takers, but also want to make certain it’s good stewardship too.  For you, I’ve attached a sample day’s menu.  You can see what type of recipes I’ll be sharing with you, plus how I’ve set up the action plan for the day.  And if you need special accomodations for dairy free or gluten free–you can see how I handled that too.

March Menu Plan Sample

Will it be healthy?  Will it be tasty?  Will my family eat it?  Is there enough food that my menfolk will be satisfied?  I think so…but you can see for yourself.  Download the free sample (click above) and check it out.

The menu plan this week is awesome…but rest assured they will get better as time goes on.  And the menu is just part of what you are subscribing to.  I’ll also send you a cover letter with frugal tips for the week and talk you through how I save the most money.

I’ll be sharing for you the information I’ve kept off my blog and out of the free newsletter, because I was saving it for the ladies who were willing to invest in themselves to learn it.

And those who subscribe by Midnight Thursday will receive a BONUS!!!!

The bonus is a free Q&A phone chat with me (plus a playback to play over and over at your leisure.) You’ll have a chance to ask anything and have me answer live.  Besides answering your questions I’ll give my own advice on how to cook for picky eaters and blanacing time in the kitchen with the rest of our busy lives.  Can’t wait to visit with you there!  All subscribers will get an email with details about the call and a chance to submit your questions ahead of time.  That way if you can’t make the call you’ll still here your answer on the replay.

Grocery Shrink Plus isn’t for everyone. It’s not for you if you have egg allergies; are a vegetarian; or if you can’t stand the idea of getting help with your menus.

Grocery Shrink Plus is perfect for you if you feel overwhelmed when it comes to menu planning, grocery shopping, or cooking. Or if you are looking for new healthy recipes.  It’s also for you if you feel like you should be spending less on your groceries but can’t figure out how to do it.

Angela, I love your blog and have been reading it for about a year. Maybe in the future you could add egg/meat substitutions for your recipes. This would work great for people who have allergies, religious diets, are vegetarian, or who simply want to want to stretch their food budget. I have been eating a mostly vegan diet for the past 5 years, and it has saved me a ton of money.

For example, you can substitute lentils and rice with taco seasoning for ground beef (or even go half and half) when making Mexican food. Textured Vegetable Protein (or TVP), found in bulk stores, makes great sloppy joe sandwiches. When baking, many recipes can be adapted to be egg-free (and even cheaper!) by using mashed bananas, ground flax seed, or even a touch of baking soda and vinegar.

Even if you don’t feel like eating vegetarian all of the time, having tricks like these up your sleeve can sure help you save money!

Fallon, Thanks for your suggestion! I do have some meatless meals encorporated into the recipes. But you won’t find vegan recipes–I have a handful of reasons but the main one is–eating without meat takes a huge amount of careful planning to prevent illness. And it’s nearly impossible to do well without a heavy reliance on soy. While I do eat soy occasionally, I’m leery of the effects of making it the main building block of my diet.

I considered accomodating those with egg allergies for the menus. It is easy to do when baking–but I’m stuck when it comes to things like omelets, scrambled eggs, and frittata. It would require a completly separate menu for the week. I won’t rule it out for the future, but right now it’s more than I can handle.

Thanks for giving us a preview. This is exactly what I wanted, but didn’t know where to find it. Yes, I probably could figure this out on my own…but I know spending $5 will save me time. And I know myself…I will not take the time to create a plan with all the details. It’s like homeschool curriculum. I know I could create my own, but it’s less stressful to pay someone else.

Way to go Angela! It sounds lovely. I just cannot afford it right now. I have been with you for years and love seeing how you, your family, and your business is coming along. You are such a blessing and a motivation for me! Andrea in NH

My question would be, is this taken out monthly automatically, & if so, how long would the subscription be for? Or is this a month to month subscription? Sorry if I missed this answer somewhere in here, but I couldn’t find when I was looking for it. I would love to try this out! I just wasn’t sure if I wanted to agree to for example: a years worth of menus, if the first month didn’t work for us. Thanks!

Heather, It’s a month to month subscription. So$5 comes out now and it charges automatically each month. You can log in anytime and cancel your subscription.

Angela, I just signed up for your new menus and am super excited. I have 4 little ones I can barely keep up with so this will really help me save planning time. I love how your meals use such wholesome ingredients! My question is when will I start getting the menus? I signed up today 3/9 at about 9am. Did I miss the email for this week and if so, is there any way I can get it? Can’t wait–Mary.
